These days no one is safe from unemployment.....

Lubbock Texas- Texas Tech, Today the University of Texas Tech has fired the once fan favorite football coach Mike Leach after the school investigated an alleged mistreatment towards wide receiver Adam James, according to the AP source Mike Leach held the wide receiver in a dark room after the player suffered a mild concussion. In addition to the allegations several players on the team have since spoken out against the coach saying they felt at peace without the coach's presence in addition many claiming the wrong doing of their teammate dead wrong and that they were almost glad the coach had gotten fired however at the same time many of the previous alumnus, ex-players and ex-football coaches spoke otherwise in coming to the coaches defense. Now this is all happening in my opinion so fast that Am second guessing both sides, to me its sort of like a personal vendetta between the school and Mike Leach, from what i understand the school wants to be the good school ( look after our student athletes) type while on the other hand Mike Leach wants to portray himself as the good innocent victim coach sounds like a fight between me and my little sister where its finger pointing with he started no she started leading my mom to intervene.Well now Leach has gone as far as hiring an attorney to file a restraining order against the school to allow him to coach the Alamo Bowl game in which the school regardless fired him before the hearing anyway which begs the question what is this really all about? I'll tell what its about money, money , money and money....in this difficult economic times employers are looking for any little reason to fire an employee to save salary expense and cut down on their payroll. I mean that's my opinion besides that i just can't see other reasons for all this drama neither side is getting a victory out of this because think about it prior to this happening Texas Tech gave Mike Leach an extension in his contract five-years worth $12.7 million with the football team ranked high and mighty. Since then the school has finished 8-4, 5-3 in conference play perhaps the Red Raiders didn't anticipate such a drop off especially after having a monster season in '08 where they went 11-2 a couple of breaks from being national champions. So it seems to me after a drop-off in performance Texas Tech unwilling to keep the lucrative contract with the coach and more importantly pay him the $ 800,000 due if he were to have coached the Alamo Bowl, so now of'course with a lot of money ( theirs that word again money) involved Leach is deciding to get legal with the matter, in no time have i heard any news or information that WR Adam James has been admitted to the hospital neither besides emotionally injured. This sort of reminds me of the Ex-Kansas JayHawks Coach Mangini, another coach fired on supposedly abuse on players but then again maybe the players are being treated wrongfully or is it just theses schools bank accounts in jeopardy here..??

Knick's shot at Nets basket not worth a benching

Posted using ShareThis
New York-New York... Dear Nate Robinson,
Can i remind you that you are a professional basketball player?!! You are not, in a park some where in the Bronx playing a 3-3 hoops, have some sense or act of professionalism dude. How thick-witted do you have to be in order to pull something like that? I really believe Knicks guard Robinson planned that well before the tip-off of that game, it says a lot about the kind of respect he has for his coach as well. If Nate had found himself on a Phil Jackson's team ( Lakers) , Jerry Sloan, even Pat Riley owned he most certainly would've had some hesistantion on scoring a basket for the opposition. I mean come on, benching for the reminder of the game was too nice! Like the beer commerical too light, it was worth a fine or suspension, how many other off-on court incidents have endured such punishment. I'am quite sure New Jersey Net fans would disagree with me but supposed Mr Robinson was wearing a Nets jersey and decided to make a basket towards Knicks scoreboard?? Umm yea Net fans would call for anarchy!!! Come on Nate, you know better than that.... this is the NBA not the CBA or your backyard. Hey Nate, thanks anyway for pulling that one off because you keep me writing!!! LOL! HAPPY THNKS GIVING EVERYONE!!

Fan recalls Palace brawl, says Artest apologized

Auburn Hills-Detroit, It's been almost five years since the Brawl between the Detriot Pistons and Indiana Pacers yet even still it has now resurfaced perhaps in means of reflection of what once was. Five years ago the Detriot Pistons where the team to beat in the NBA with starting five not one team could match even the LA Lakers, the Indiana Pacers where known to be bad boys of the NBA their group included Hot-Tempered PF Ron Artest ( now a Laker), troublesome SF Stephen Jackson ( since them been traded, has had all kinds of problems with Pacers, Warriors now with the Oklahoma Bobcats) and C Jermaine O'Neal ( Pacers, Raptors and now with the Heat..injury plagued most of the time) so much has happened since this melee that turned ugly over a foul underneath the basket but for so funny reason we still are talking about it, well it could be the fact that many of the involved parties then have since moved on to different stages of their careers, lives and ways. Maybe we should too...yes, iam not going to reinvent the wheel with this one, just sharing to let all us we should move on...past is in the past, if Ron Artest has since apologized along with Fan John Geer who was involved with Artest in the altercation but both have moved on with sincerity the rest of America might as well.

NFL fines Titans owner $250K for middle fingers

Nashville-Tennessee, Have a little sense of HUMOR ( HECTOR)!!!..many of my colleagues recommend to me when i heard about this, it seems that The Tennessee Titans owner Bob Adams became overly excited of the trumping his team gave to the hapless Buffalo Bills this past Sunday by waiving the birdie to Bills fan after the game. Yes, it was funny to see a man in his 80's making obscene gestures towards his rivals, really now that i come to think of it...LOL!! LOL!!!LOL!!LOL!! sarcastically speaking but because we all most come down to the business side of it Mr Adam made an unethical (funny) however unethical decision to flash his feelings out and that came with a price tag of $250,000, maybe he should keep that receipt so that next time he feels the urge to flash his feelings he might think it over. (note:adding to the humor his light blue pimp suit, LOL!!)

Speed Game: Miami-UNC - ESPN Video

Charlotte-NC, UM's bitter loss was absolutely a huge disappointment, after witnessing the Canes defeat Saturday afternoon i can tell you two reasons for their loss. The first one goes to QB Jacory Harris, yes it does 4 Int's in a crucial game that basically cost them the game, you can argue with me all you want that two of those were not his fault however i would ask you how many games has this been happening?? It was just a matter of time when UM was going to get burned. Here is the troubling stats on J Harris : so far 19 TD'S 16 Int's, he is projected to finish with 23 TD'S 19 Int's by the end of the season ( stats by ESPN.com) in the beginning i was very high on this young prospect from Miami however now I'am not so sure. Of'course their was other reasons for the lost and i know already about we lose as a team & win as one but allow me to give you fact vs opinion UM QB Harris has thrown an average of 2 Int's in 95% of the games he's played so far that includes vs FAMU ( a non-division I-A school) thats HORRIBLE!!! I mean past UM greats QB never made mistakes when playing against lower level opponents instead they punished them and made them pay dearly by bombing them with back to back TD's. In all honesty UM has pretty talented receivers the deepest in the nation. Jacory Harris has the talent but is far from being a UM great I'am even second guessing whether he can play at the next level if he doesn't improve or learn from his mistakes very soon he might not be playing at all.

I mean i can just imagine if the official would've accepted the bribe!! Of'course this isn't the first time he's done something like this Chad's has gotten fined for far much worse , but this one is above all funny... $1 dollar cost Ocho $20,000 for bribery!!!LOL

Officiating are taking over games.......

Officials in our all our major sports NBA, NFL and even NCAA have gotten way of hand as far making game impacting calls that reserve either a huge play or a momentum game. Just the other night The Chicago Bulls played a close game versus The Denver Nuggets, it came down to the last .03 seconds, the Bulls inbounded a pass from G Kirk Hinrich to C Brad Miller who caught the pass and immediately shot it outwards towards the basket as time expired, the shot went swiss in frezzing everyone until the celebration started....now fans in that staduim along with millions on TV including me witnessed Miller shot with clear view that it left his hands into the basket as game shot expired, but of'course in the midst of the celebration the men in white & black had something to say. Even though millions of viewers saw it clear he hit the game winning shot, the officials reversed the call as saying the shot did not count because Miller's fingertips was slightly grazing the ball. I mean come on!! Its the Homecourt team! He made the shot, against an elite team but your'e going to steal the game from them because of fingertipping?? The point is he shot it off in time, and it hit the basket right at the buzzer!! To many of these i tell you....

Birmingham-Alabama, Well maybe it only happens in the NBA? Think again! Check out this game # 2 Alabama was playing LSU in a critical matchup that had national title implications written all over it because the winner would get a shot at playing #1 Florida gators for the SEC championship, however one play changed the Tigers fate in the 4th qtr LSU's CB Patrick Peterson clearly made an interception i mean litterly you could see him catching and dragging both feet inbounds ( note: In NCAFF you only need one foot inbounds) but their came the men in white & black and overruled it to a incomplete pass!! Are you Kidding me!! That horrific call cost LSU the win not to mention a chance to play Florida in SEC championship.

Miami-FL, Well you could say this NFL game was not affected by the officials..wrong!! In many occasions which iam going to name did the men in white & black zebra stripes totally blew calls. In one instance Saints S Darren Sharper returned a INT back to the dolphins 2 yrd line extending his arms while the ball fell off his arms yet the officals called a Touchdown!!?? TouchDown!!!?? Like Ex-Colts coach Jim Mora said" Playoff!!?? Iam saying "Touchdown"!!??!!?? Everyone in the world could see the ball fell from Sharper's arm into the ground, i mean what are these officiating crews looking at even with the Instant Reply, you got to be able to see what me and millions around the world are seeing... i wouldn't blame anyone for thinking conspiracy, yes i know far from it however its becoming a catch 22 for any fan who view the correct call from their TV screens because it doesn't matter the men in white & black zebra stripes have the final say at the end of the day.

Women's group: Raiders should suspend Cable

Oakland - California, I remember telling a fellow co-worker who is a die hard Raider fan, that his coach was going to be suspended for assualting his former Defensive Assitant Randy Hanson, but it didn't happen because The Napa County ( Cali) District Attroney declined to press charges. So Mr Cable i guess you thought this whole thing will just vanish into the air like the wind...umm Nope your'e wrong coach do you want to know why this mess you created isn't over? Because when you decided to assault someone in a meeting full of grown adults especially in the manner you did it, breaking a jaw, you are now viewed as a violent and dangerous person!!! No wonder you have all these new allegations of violence, victims in which they claim you also did physically assualted them. And the worse part its women who are now accusing you....it doesn't matter if it happened 20 years ago coach its coming out now because youre pride got you in trouble, had you not taken that decision and punched youre assitant but instead bring him to youre office fine him or suspend Him for questioning you everyone wouldv'e have been on your side!! And instead of the villian you would've have been seen as the victim however now we see what happens when you act with your fist instead of your brain!!! I hope the best for coach Cable, those charges that were dropped could soon reappear....

Gators suspend linebacker Spikes for one half

Gainesville, Florida- On Saturday afternoon, Gators LB Brandon Spikes made a terrible decision now as you can see in this old picture Spikes is known for his tough tackling and aggresive approach to the game of football, that's not the problem, the situation is that Spikes made a poor decision in an apparent attempt to gouge an eye out of Georgia's running back Washaun Ealey now i ask myself why in GOD's green earth would you decide to do that? It isn't as if the guy had the ball inside his face mask where you can argue " Well i was trying to force a fumble, gee-golly Brandon"! Now i'am not sure in what period of time he made that cowardly act but if iam not mistaken his team was winning either way but thats besides the point because lets just say it was the other way around...what good would it do your team to gouge the eye of your opponents ? That would actually work in their favor not to mention it'll cost your team a penatly of 15 yards for an unsportsmanlike conduct plus it might even get you suspended for the next game! (note: LB Spikes is getting suspended half of game by his Coach Urban Meyer, by the way thats a joke! he should've been suspended like Oregon's running back Blount who was suspended entire year for punching another player, at least he admitted it and was remorse about it, Spikes hasn't until now even apologized for his actions) Brandon Spikes, your action tells me a lot about your charcter in which is now in heavy question, not good for a TEAM CAPTAIN and future top NFL draft pick, even still DUDE!? your'e a Senior on your team not to mention already an All -American, ACT like one! Sorry if you feel iam being to harsh on him, but it just makes me livid when someone with all the talent in the world whose been given a big opportunity does something so stupid to throw it away, for what? I can't even imagine what his answer will be when his coach asks him " what where you thinking "? I could almost imagine it Spikes saying " coach i made a terrible mistake and i promise never to do it again". Thats when i would say " Yes, you did and i forgive you but about promises? you need to take that up with the Man above, because right now son, you have a character problem that could only be fixed by HIM.

NCAA needs to chill out ...on WR Dez Bryant

The NCAA has been known on punishing College players or schools with sanctions, suspensions and revoked scholarships. In many occasions done rightly so with reasonable punishments however its recent suspension of Oklahoma State's Star WR Dez Bryant has been ridiculous...i'll say it again in bold letters " RIDICULOUS"!!!!! The NCAA took a year away from a promising NFL prospect because he lied about Dinning and working out with Ex-NFL Great Deion Sanders, making him eligible but suspended for entire year, which is the SAME THING!!! Hello?? The kid panicked, who wouldn't if your entire career is on the line along with everything you've worked hard for just because you had Dinner with another fellow man or worked out with him? Yes he lied thats wrong, but i wonder how many people in the NCAA commitee have ever lied before....Please, throw the first stone!!!! IF HE BE without sin...the kid made a mistake, he admitted it perhaps a one game suspension or maybe two ( even thats iffy) but entire year knowing his team depends on his big play ability? Perhaps the NCAA wants to breed robotic
athletes...whatever the case is take some considerations these are still kids and every situation is different but for lying about a dinner or workout doesn't deserve one yr suspension.

These Hurricanes have class..........

Ever hear of the term Class Act?? Well if you haven't just take a look at the 2009 Miami Hurricanes football team. Last Saturday's victory over UCF 27 - 7 that was the final score however i watched that game and the Hurricanes had plenty of opportunites to score up more points a lot more..the final score could have been 40-7 even. Lets take a look at the FAMU victory where Miami steamed rolled the Rattlers 48-16 but really it could've have been 60-16 yet the Hurricanes took a conservative approach in the second half and benched their starters, replacing them with the second& third strings. Of'course, the game is out of reach by then but with all the BCS standing calculations and the importance of points per game counting towards how high a team will rank each week in and out, no one would blame Coach Shannon for running up the score or putting up huge numbers clearly able to..you could argue well they just didn't want to force any turnovers or injuries when not necessary but past Hurricanes teams would not care at all about that. The Miami Hurricanes had a rep of blowing away their opponents in the past scoring 60 points plus in routs, thats college football!! Even the NFL is taking the act of high scoring just look at the drubbling of Tennesse Titans, where the N.E Patriots put up 59 Points!!! With that being said iam i upset of this ?? In No way...iam actually proud that our team is starting a new era, of being a winning team with Class, of which many college or pro teams have seem to forsaken these days..not enough proof ?? UM beat then # 9 Oklahoma 21-20 i had the chance to watch that game Miami was driving down the throats of the Sooners with 3:00mins left with all the ability and option to score another TD and make it 34-21 yet they ran the ball a couple of times and with 1:00 min left to a knee...thats why iam proud to say these Hurricanes are a Class Act along with their whole staff.

Would you trade D-WADE??...

Thunder 96 Heat 91 last night's game...The Miami Heat are now 0-4 for the preseason, yes these games dont really count but you have to be somewhat concerned about it, especially if your'e All-Star G D-Wade did not play nursing a muscle strain in his ribs. Texting a friend this morning he vented that the Heat's regular season hasn't even started yet and here we go piling up with injuries and losing record....Get used to it buddy, the Heat failed to upgrade their rosters this past summer while everyone else in the East made significant moves that made their teams a heck of a lot better that last year, with that being said Most of those teams are winning even in the preseason. ..check out these standing so far in the preseason :

Eastern Conference
Boston 4-0
Chicago 4-1
Detroit 3-1
Orlando 5-0
Atlanta 3-1
Miami 0-4

All the teams ahead of us made moves to upgrade themselves as a team...not individual but a team.

Dolphins have found their franchise QB...

Monday nights victory for the Miami Dolphins proved one thing for them and only one thing alone ...they have found their franchise Quaterback of the future, of now quite frankly.QB Chad Henne, in his 2nd year showed the entire NFL league why he's going to be a hardache headaches for defensive coaches in the years to come, not only did he demonstrate such poise and calmness throughout this tough matchup against arch divisonal rivals Jets but he dismantled Rex Ryan's defense scheme, in which past opponents could not solve in the mix i can name only a few example QB's Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Matt Schaub...i mean that a pretty heck of group to shut down, yet Henne to the credit of his line still made the throws along with outsmarting the Jets defense so badly that it made Rex Ryan say this in his post-game comments "We've made him look like Dan Marino" he said. No,coach he is the next Dan Marino, you got schooled. The wildcat offense added with the bulldozing running game from two outstanding runng backs Ronnie and Ricky capitalized and benefited from Henne's throwing ability which resulted in 31 points and the win.Not convinced yet? just observe who he went up against Jets QB Mark Sanchez, a top 1 st rd Draft pick from USC selected 5th overall in the first round who i might add had a heck of a game and has far more talent around him than Henne, yet no one recalls the losing QB only the winner in this case 2nd rd draft choice Chad Henne selected 57th overall..here's more news he's from Michigan, who have a tendacy of producing terrific QB's for the NFL, just take Tom Brady for example. The Miami Dolphins have searched as a gold miner searches for gold in a gold mine for their Future QB to replace the legendary Hall Famer QB Dan Marino, now mind you Henne isn't no Marino but Monday's showing offered a good argument for his case and who's to say he doesn't turn out to be better? Just stay tuned for next couple of games and we'll all know how good this rocket for an arm QB is going to be.
