The NCAA has been known on punishing College players or schools with sanctions, suspensions and revoked scholarships. In many occasions done rightly so with reasonable punishments however its recent suspension of Oklahoma State's Star WR Dez Bryant has been ridiculous...i'll say it again in bold letters " RIDICULOUS"!!!!! The NCAA took a year away from a promising NFL prospect because he lied about Dinning and working out with Ex-NFL Great Deion Sanders, making him eligible but suspended for entire year, which is the SAME THING!!! Hello?? The kid panicked, who wouldn't if your entire career is on the line along with everything you've worked hard for just because you had Dinner with another fellow man or worked out with him? Yes he lied thats wrong, but i wonder how many people in the NCAA commitee have ever lied before....Please, throw the first stone!!!! IF HE BE without sin...the kid made a mistake, he admitted it perhaps a one game suspension or maybe two ( even thats iffy) but entire year knowing his team depends on his big play ability? Perhaps the NCAA wants to breed robotic
athletes...whatever the case is take some considerations these are still kids and every situation is different but for lying about a dinner or workout doesn't deserve one yr suspension.

These Hurricanes have class..........
Ever hear of the term Class Act?? Well if you haven't just take a look at the 2009 Miami Hurricanes football team. Last Saturday's victory over UCF 27 - 7 that was the final score however i watched that game and the Hurricanes had plenty of opportunites to score up more points a lot more..the final score could have been 40-7 even. Lets take a look at the FAMU victory where Miami steamed rolled the Rattlers 48-16 but really it could've have been 60-16 yet the Hurricanes took a conservative approach in the second half and benched their starters, replacing them with the second& third strings. Of'course, the game is out of reach by then but with all the BCS standing calculations and the importance of points per game counting towards how high a team will rank each week in and out, no one would blame Coach Shannon for running up the score or putting up huge numbers clearly able to..you could argue well they just didn't want to force any turnovers or injuries when not necessary but past Hurricanes teams would not care at all about that. The Miami Hurricanes had a rep of blowing away their opponents in the past scoring 60 points plus in routs, thats college football!! Even the NFL is taking the act of high scoring just look at the drubbling of Tennesse Titans, where the N.E Patriots put up 59 Points!!! With that being said iam i upset of this ?? In No way...iam actually proud that our team is starting a new era, of being a winning team with Class, of which many college or pro teams have seem to forsaken these days..not enough proof ?? UM beat then # 9 Oklahoma 21-20 i had the chance to watch that game Miami was driving down the throats of the Sooners with 3:00mins left with all the ability and option to score another TD and make it 34-21 yet they ran the ball a couple of times and with 1:00 min left to a knee...thats why iam proud to say these Hurricanes are a Class Act along with their whole staff.

Would you trade D-WADE??...
Thunder 96 Heat 91 last night's game...The Miami Heat are now 0-4 for the preseason, yes these games dont really count but you have to be somewhat concerned about it, especially if your'e All-Star G D-Wade did not play nursing a muscle strain in his ribs. Texting a friend this morning he vented that the Heat's regular season hasn't even started yet and here we go piling up with injuries and losing record....Get used to it buddy, the Heat failed to upgrade their rosters this past summer while everyone else in the East made significant moves that made their teams a heck of a lot better that last year, with that being said Most of those teams are winning even in the preseason. ..check out these standing so far in the preseason :
Eastern Conference
Boston 4-0
Chicago 4-1
Detroit 3-1
Orlando 5-0
Atlanta 3-1
Miami 0-4
All the teams ahead of us made moves to upgrade themselves as a team...not individual but a team.

Dolphins have found their franchise QB...
Monday nights victory for the Miami Dolphins proved one thing for them and only one thing alone ...they have found their franchise Quaterback of the future, of now quite frankly.QB Chad Henne, in his 2nd year showed the entire NFL league why he's going to be a hardache headaches for defensive coaches in the years to come, not only did he demonstrate such poise and calmness throughout this tough matchup against arch divisonal rivals Jets but he dismantled Rex Ryan's defense scheme, in which past opponents could not solve in the mix i can name only a few example QB's Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Matt Schaub...i mean that a pretty heck of group to shut down, yet Henne to the credit of his line still made the throws along with outsmarting the Jets defense so badly that it made Rex Ryan say this in his post-game comments "We've made him look like Dan Marino" he said. No,coach he is the next Dan Marino, you got schooled. The wildcat offense added with the bulldozing running game from two outstanding runng backs Ronnie and Ricky capitalized and benefited from Henne's throwing ability which resulted in 31 points and the win.Not convinced yet? just observe who he went up against Jets QB Mark Sanchez, a top 1 st rd Draft pick from USC selected 5th overall in the first round who i might add had a heck of a game and has far more talent around him than Henne, yet no one recalls the losing QB only the winner in this case 2nd rd draft choice Chad Henne selected 57th overall..here's more news he's from Michigan, who have a tendacy of producing terrific QB's for the NFL, just take Tom Brady for example. The Miami Dolphins have searched as a gold miner searches for gold in a gold mine for their Future QB to replace the legendary Hall Famer QB Dan Marino, now mind you Henne isn't no Marino but Monday's showing offered a good argument for his case and who's to say he doesn't turn out to be better? Just stay tuned for next couple of games and we'll all know how good this rocket for an arm QB is going to be.
